AWANA (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed) comes from 2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV) Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Awana is an international youth ministry committed to "reaching boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and training them to serve Him."
Trek — 6th - 8th grade students (6th graders can choose Truth & Training club instead)
Journey — 9th - 12th grade students
Game Time — Students play games on the unique Awana game square.
Handbook Time — Students work through age-appropriate handbooks, memorizing Bible verses and doing activities, while earning awards based on their efforts.
Council Time — Students hear Bible stories and age-appropriate lessons based on Christian principles.
Registration for 2025-2026: Sunday August 24th (fill out on-line registration form any time before or during)
Awards night: Monday May 11, 2026 @ 6:45pm
Club Night: Monday from 6:45-8:30pm

Grand Prix: Build a pinewood derby car, then race it down the track. We'll provide pinewood car kits in time for the next race day in the Fall. Come to club to find out when!
Regional Bible Quizzing: Challenge your memorization skills by answering questions about God's Word, your Awana book and more! Compete with other churches in the region (sometimes churches as far as Texas), for latest dates go to rmhcamp.org.
Regional Awana Games: Competition is fierce at the regional Awana Games. Like Bible Quizzing, churches come from surrounding states to compete in the Awana Games around the Awana circle. For latest dates go to rmhcamp.org.
